Thank you Sarah for your remedy!

    Hello,
    A little about me:

    • I am a 15 years old girl
    • Now in high school
    • An actual acne victim
    First a little history:
I’ve been affected by acne since grade 5th, don’t really remember when it began, but it was a sad experience and I never knew it would be this hard to fight it. I have tried almost everything, with no luck. I tried Clearasil, prescribed medicine, Proactive, creams, almost used Accutane, but my acne is not to the severe extent.

Now, I don’t know if it is a new remedy, or it’s already known to you, but I created it by myself, and it is working for me. Maybe because of my skin type or genes or whatever else, but it is working for me!
Before that I used honey and olive oil mask to cure my acne, and it did show some improvement, but my face would feel sticky after that. Neither the process of boiling water for the steam to penetrate my pores after 10 minutes was a fun task. This was too complicated. I was doing it 2-3 times a week. And one day I got to think, and I knew that honey helps cure acne, and so does baking soda! So a mask of honey and baking soda was born!

    Recipe:
    • Honey
    • Baking soda
    • Water

I haven’t used any measurements, just added baking soda, honey and water, in a bowl until it turned out to a thick mask. I made it solid enough so it was a bit tough to spread it, but not watery to keep dripping off of my face. Leave the mask on for about 40 minutes or more if you like, and then rinse with warm water.
Best part: I noticed my acne breakouts were significantly less red and noticeable. My skin felt smooth and clean and not sticky anymore. I use it about 3-4 times a week to help my acne. And be sure to rinse with warm, not hot, water (heard that hot water does something bad with your pores), and dry. Consider applyign a moisturizer after procedure, because baking soda tends to dry out your skin (acne too), and do not use any makeup if you can (atleast for some time)! Use it at your own risk :)
