    Avocado has long been hailed for its many great properties as beneficial part of your diet. Also, it can be helpful to you and your skin. Avocado have great impact for your body and in particular for your skin. Avocados are also rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E, which are natural antioxidants that can protect your skin from damage. Avocado will help to add skin-strengthening collagen to help make your skin stronger and more elastic. This can also help you fend off skin problems and inflammation such as psoriasis, eczema and acne.

    Making your own avocado face mask is easy. All you need is one avocado and you can make the face mask. Peel avocado and remove the pit (the pit can come out easily with a spoon or a knife). Scoop out the avocado flesh that is left in the peel and do not discard the peel. You can then mash the avocado flesh in a small bowl until it reaches the consistency of a fine paste. Take the peels and rub the inside of the avocado peels against the skin for about three minutes to help with exfoliation. Then take the avocado paste and apply it all over your face. You can leave the face mask on for about ten minutes and then rinse the mask off with warm water and pat your skin dry.

    If you use this mask just once a week you can begin to notice a difference in the feel and look of your skin. You will have a much healthier glow and less inflammation, making your face look fantastic, and all for the cost of just one avocado. There are many variations of this recipe. Adding items such as yogurt, orange, lemon, olive oil, almond oil, banana, Aloe Vera and many other natural products that can help having healthier skin.

    Avocado Face Masks

    There are a lot of variations for avocado face masks. Everyone can make their unique, personal face mask that suits their skin type best. Here are some most popular face mask recipes.

    Avocado and lemon juice facial mask

    Ingredients:

    1/2 soft avocado

    1 tsp. lemon juice

    1 tsp. honey/olive oil

    Step 1

    Scrape the flesh out of the avocado peel into a bowl. Mash the avocado until its consistency becomes creamy.

    Step 2

    Add 1 tsp. of lemon juice to the mashed avocado. Lemon juice prevents the avocado from oxidizing and turning brown and provides Vitamin C.

    Step 3

    Mix the paste with the ingredient of your choice – 1 tsp. honey, olive oil, almond oil, Aloe Vera… Depends on the ingredient and your skin type or problem you want to cure.

    Step 4

    Wash your face with warm water. This way  you will remove all dirt and cosmetics and it will be easier for avocado face mask to be absorbed by skin.

    Step 5

    Apply face mask onto your face. Add thin layer of paste and wait around 15 or more minutes until it fully dries out.

    Step 6

    Wash your face with warm water by gently removing dried face mask.

    Cleaning face lotion

    Ingredients:

    3 avocados

    2 lemons

    Step 1

    Peel avocados and strain them.

    Step 2

    Filter avocado juice and add lemon juice. Shake/mix the liquid.

    Step 3

    Use lotion after cleaning or drying your face.

    This lotion will be usable up to 5 days if held in a closing bottle in a fridge.
